About Bee

Hi, I am Bee.
I am a proud Mam to our little bean, I love the outdoors and fitness, and I am a fluent Welsh speaker, which is making a fun outing teaching our little one how to be bilingual.

On top of being a Mum, which is defiantly a full-time job, I also volunteer and every Thursday, I am a Beaver Leader for an amazing group of Beaver scouts. I love being able to provide introduce these little legends to the outdoors and so many other awesome skills.

I love fitness and enjoy the community it has around it. I have been doing CrossFit for over five years and it’s not the workouts that get me into the gym at 6:30 in the Morning, it’s the people I get to work out with. It is the most supportive environment.

In school I developed a real passion for textiles, that took me on a journey. I went to Cardiff Met University to study it completely.

I loved exploring all the techniques and having the space to find my creative style. It was here that I found that I loved being able to make design accessible for all, this looked like designing greeting cards with integrated braille.

After finishing Uni I started a role as a Designer with Festive Productions where I designed Christmas decorations. It was my first steps in the professional designer world. I realised I love the challenge of working with design brief and helping others discover your vision. Now there is defiantly a period of time that if you bought a Christmas Dec from a garden centre you probably have a dec I designed for your tree.

Hungry to continue to improve my skills I moved to Pobl where I worked as a graphic designer. I developed the brand and a number of sub brands. It was here I added to my portfolio, not only design for flat documents like leaflets, brochures and even vehicle designs, but also design for the web where I built a number of WordPress websites.

I have most recently been working for the National Lottery community fund. Here I gained a qualification in accessible design. I worked on a wide range of designs across the organisation and ensured brand continuity. In more recent times I have had the opportunity to lead, managing team workload, developing work packages and ensuring deadlines are met.

On long side my day job I have taken on a number of private clients. I am happy to take on work from single logo designs to full design guidelines. I also have really enjoyed working with happy couples to design their wedding invites. If you have any designs that you would like to pick up be it a brand or a party invite, please reach out.
